Our end-of-the-year Dance Recital will be held on Saturday, June 1st JAMS Performing Arts Center located at 2425 16th St. Santa Monica CA 90405. This is part of John Adams Middle School. Show times are 11am, 1:30pm and 4:00pm. Please check your personalized recital info to see what show(s) you are in.

Please follow the details below so we can achieve a fun and successful experience for all. Your dancer will be participating in a show (or shows) that will be approximately 1 hour long.

1. Please arrive 1 hour and 10 minutes before your show time(s) below with your dancer already dressed and ready to go in their costume. We will run a dress rehearsal for each group, but since the curtains will remain closed, you will not be able to view the dancers. Feel free to grab a seat during this time. There is ample metered parking in front of the auditorium and for several blocks on both sides of the auditorium, but please allow time to find parking. We need the dancers to be checked in 1 hour and 10 minutes before their show time.

2. Check in your dancer
If your dancer is in one routine during the show:
Check in your dancer in the holding room. We will direct you here once we check your wristbands at the front gate / main entrance. Here your dancer will meet up with their classmates. You can leave them with the SDM staff in this holding room and enter the auditorium to find a seat.

If your dancer is in two or more routines in the same show:
Check in your dancer at our backstage entrance. We will have signs as well as staff to direct you to this backstage entrance. Make sure they have all of their costumes, tights, and shoes with them.

3. Once the show starts our staff will take dancers to the stage to perform when it’s their turn.

4. Please wait until the end of the entire show (which will be about 60 minutes) to grab your dancer.

5. Please check out your dancer the same way you checked them in. Dancers in one routine will be checked out in the holding room. Dancers in two routines in the same show will need to be checked out backstage.
